A-Z of Phonics and Spelling

The A-Z of phonics and spelling was published as a series of 26 articles in the Times Educational Supplement in 1998. It has haunted me ever since. Wherever I go, teachers say, “I was cutting them out to keep but I missed J. Have you got a spare copy?” (It’s not always J, of course. But you know what I mean.)

Anyway, it was a great relief when Oxford University Press asked could they publish the articles as A Little Alphabet Book. Here are A,B,C and three of my personal favourites (G,K and T).
