Texan Doubles
Here in Texas - where everything is bigger - they've now begun to abuse the poor little apostrophe's big brother. Yes, just recently I noticed a flyer in the mail (a broadside in the post?) advertising a local emporium's 'FINE SELECTION OF CIGAR"S'.
Oh, and the directions to the store? 'WE"RE AT THE END OF THE HIGHWAY 155 BRIDGE'. |
